Opt-in Services
Overview
The following are services Bibliomation libraries can opt-in for. If interested, please submit a ticket to the Help Desk.
Available Services
Autorenewal
This includes notices sent to patrons when an autorenewal attempt is made.
See Autorenewal for details on configuration, notices, and FAQs.
Self-registration
This is an additional page in your OPAC that contains a customizable form. Three notices are also available:
-
A confirmation sent to the patron after they register
-
A welcome message sent to the patron after their account is created
-
A notification sent to staff when a pending patron is ready for review
Curbside
A management system used to track curbside appointments. An additional OPAC version is optional.
For more information, see Curbside Pickup.
Self-check
The Evergreen department will create a link and suggest software to use for your self-check machine. You can also inquire about cost for a self-check machine provided by Bibliomation.
Online Credit Card Payment
Evergreen uses Stripe for online payments. This will be integrated with the OPAC where patrons can pay for fines.
Mark Items as Damaged Prompt
When enabled, this feature will show a prompt that will bill the previous or current patron (depending on the item status) if desired as long as the item marked as damaged is your owning library’s item. The prompt provides patron information and an option to not bill if needed.
How to Request
To enable any of these services for your library, please submit a ticket to the Bibliomation Help Desk specifying which service you’re interested in.
