Local Administration

Overview

The Local Administration section in Evergreen provides library staff with tools to manage day-to-day operations specific to their branch or library system. This includes managing item transits, reviewing financial transactions, setting closed dates, and handling problematic holds.

To access Local Administration functions, navigate to Administration > Local Administration in the main menu.

Key Features

The Local Administration module includes several important tools:

Feature Description

Transit List

View and manage items in transit to or from your library

Cash Reports

Generate reports of financial transactions for a specified time period

Closed Dates Editor

Manage your library’s closed dates, which affect due dates and fine calculations

Hopeless Holds

Identify and resolve holds that cannot be filled with current available copies
